The Oberlin Farmer's Market is seeking musicians for our 2014 season! If you are interested in donating your time and talents to our community events, please contact Ed Phillips at email@example.com. Musician FAQ
Q: I'm a musician and I'm interested in playing at the Oberlin Farmer's Market. Who do I need to contact and what information should I provide?
A: You should contact Ed Phillips, our music coordinator and OFM board member. If you have a website or some recordings, send that information along with your message.
Q: Can I bring my amplifier and plug in when playing at the Oberlin Farmer's Market?
A: No. Unfortunately, our permit restricts "amplified music" at the OFM.
Q: Will I receive payment for my performance at the Oberlin Farmer's Market? A: As a non-profit and entirely volunteer based organization, we cannot afford to pay our musicians. However, you are welcome to collect tips and donations, and we also promote a culture of generosity among our vendors. You can expect to receive donations of food and other goods when volunteering your time at the OFM.
