For the Love of Food celebrates Oberlin’s growing (literally) local foods effort revealed through a
growing web of inter-connections between urban and backyard gardeners, farmers, business owners, students, educators, and grassroots leaders. Within this web of community connections lies a new expression of participatory democracy and sustainable local economy.The film will be screened inside the public library on May 19th, the date of Oberlin's first Farmers Market of the Season. Viewings will take place at 12:00 and then again at 1:30pm.
